Captured after navigating a long and rugged dirt road, this image is a quiet moment of stillness in the wilderness of Glacier National Park. The atmosphere is rich and deep just after a storm has swept through. We found ourselves completely alone at the lake, which is beautifully reflecting the clearing but still moody, cloudy sky. Look closely and you can see a light rain falling, creating delicate ripples on the otherwise mirrored surface. It was a time when the colors and clarity of nature were truly amplified.
